This is me irl right now:

Why? My Torchwood DVDs showed up today. I ordered them on Wednesday, but since they were shipped from Seattle it only took two days to get here despite the shipping method saying 3-5 days on average. ilu Amazon.com. ♥

We're supposed to be going to Tillamook tomorrow, but now I kind of wanna stay home and watch Torchwood all day. I don't really care to go through the cheese factory again, but I would like the ice cream just because someone else would be treating me. I'm conveniently ignoring the fact that I have a tub of their Chocolate Peanut Butter ice cream in my freezer right now. There's also the fact that don't have anything to do in the car. No books I haven't already read, no games I haven't already beaten...

In other news, I, much to my sister's dismay, got my nephew into Doctor Who. It used to be that the only one I could geek over Doctor Who with was my boyfriend since everyone else in my family doesn't like the show. Now I have a new watching buddy since my nephew likes it too!

Speaking of TV, I have a huge backlog of shit that I've recorded and have yet to watch. I have something like 11 episodes of Supernatural, the season premiere of The Choir, and an episode of Come Dine With Me recorded that I seriously need to watch already. I think the DVR is at like 80% full or something because I get busy and don't watch things as fast as I should so they don't pile up. Between all the Supernatural I've recorded and the Monty Python my dad has recorded, we have effectively filled one of the DVRs in this house. This is so many types of insanity given the amount of shows those things can hold at any one given time. roflmao.

OMG!

I bought S5E1 of Doctor Who off of iTunes since I missed the BBC America broadcast (fffff---). I decided I liked episode 1 enough to buy the DVDs when they're released in November. I can wait to watch the rest until then. I still have nearly 2 series of Doctor Who (not counting specials), 4 series of Bones, and 4 series of Stargate Atlantis to watch. I can keep myself occupied until then. If, for some ungodly reason, I manage to finish all of that on top of everything else I have to do, there's always Supernatural to watch.

Regardless, while that was downloading I searched for this and was pleased to find out that it was finally released!

I've been excited for this since, oh, I don't know, may. Needless to say, I bought this too. ♥

One thing I can say is that if Mirage is going to sound like this, I'm definitely tempted to buy it. Imagine was kind of disappointing, really. I'm also very excited for Straight to the Heart and will be upset for the second time if it gets shoved back again. Regardless, I think this song is fabulous. :)

If anyone is interested in the song:

Hello? Anyone there? No. Because the phones aren't working.

Memes
I saw this on my flist and I had to do it or else I'd feel guilty.

♥ Anyone who looks at this entry has to post this meme and their current wallpaper on their LiveJournal. (Now, I'm not going to hunt you down if you don't, but hey, it could be fun - especially if there is boy kissing and/or porn.
♥ Explain in five sentences why you're using that wallpaper!
♥ Don't change your wallpaper before doing this! The point is to see what you had on.

Fandom
Marathon watching Torchwood is not good for me (I've gone through series 1 and half of series 2 within two days...). Don't get me wrong, this show is awesome and I love it. However, no show can be awesome without causing me some severe emotional pain. It's like writers like picking on my favorite characters or something. Maybe I'm picking the wrong characters to like?

Life
There is a huge spider in my bathroom and I am, under no circumstances, going in there. This must be an endearing trait or something as my Mom's only reaction is to just smile and chuckle. I am legit freaking out over here (who has arachnophobia? I do!) and she doesn't even offer to, oh, I don't know, go kill it or something.
