The post in which I talk about my presents & other stuff.
Totally random Arashi-related note before I go into the talk about my presents. Did anyone notice that during the MSte Superlive there was a "Parental Advisory Explicit Lyrics" notice on Matsujun's coat? xDD I have to say that I had an LOL fit over that one. For those of you that didn't see it/notice it here's a screencap of it. Ah, that made my day~ I would have been a bit happier if they had preformed a song other than Love so sweet though. Out of all the singles they've released this year, I'd have to say that Happiness was my favourite. It always makes me happy when I listen to it. ♥
Anyway, I posted what I got for christmas about 20 minutes after unwrapping them, so I never really got a chance to use/read/listen to them. Now that I have, I can talk about them!
The first thing I did was watch Alice in Wonderland. I haven't seen that movie in a few years and amazingly I can still sing along with most of the songs. My mom didn't even remember Old Father William. Ahhh, I miss old disney movies. They were the best.

First order of business will be Hatsumei Princess. I had my mom buy it for me since I liked the cover and it sounded interesting. I wasn't let down, it's one of those romantic comedies that I've been dying to read! The story goes upon the romance in a comedic way and it's really cute/funny. It's one of those "love at first sight" things, but Shizuka goes upon getting her love by inventing a love potion which she accidentally drinks and it causes her to fall in love with someone else. This makes Hajime mad because he already likes Shizuka. xD;;
This manga has a good mix of comedy and romance. It's kinda on the ecchi side, but I don't mind ecchi anyway. If I had a problem with ecchi, I wouldn't be reading 90% of the Shinjo Mayu series I read roflol. I'm going to see about ordering the other two volumes the next time I go to Kino~

Sora to Arashi is a fantasy manga. Something that I honestly don't read much of, but I love Suda Yuriko's manga so after reading a chapter of Sora to Arashi in Asuka I decided to buy volume 1. Sora to Arashi is about a team of youma police, a newcomer Sora and his youma partner Arashi. Youma are demons that wreak havoc in the human world when the cross over from the youma world. Youma used to be able to cross over only during twilight, but now they can cross over at any time. So they can litterally show up anywhere at anytime of the day so the youma police have to be on guard at all times to protect the city. Sora and Arashi don't get along very well and it causes many problems during their attempts to capture of wild youma, but Sora is trying his best to follow in his brother's footsteps.
Overall, I like this manga. It's cute, funny, and has a good basis to the plot. Since only one volume has been released so far, I'll probably buy the volumes as they're released. And since I buy Asuka pretty much every month, I'll read the chapters in Asuka as well.

capsule is an electronic/dance duo for those of you that don't know. I'm not a huge fan of pre-LDK capsule, but I really like this group. I guess that capsule is my favourite project of Nakata's. I'd have to say that overall FLASH BACK is better than Sugarless GiRL, the title track from Sugarless GiRL was so overrated. I like the fact that FLASH BACK has a few instrumentals on it. It was something that Sugarless GiRL was lacking in. The only instrumental on Sugarless GiRL was Melting point. I'd have to say that my favourite song on FLASH BACK would be You are the reason, but I love the entire album. ♥ You are the reason is to FLASH BACK what Secret Paradise was to Sugarless GiRL. xD (a.k.a. the song I absolutely adore and can have on repeat for hours on end)

V6!!! My second favourite JE group! *backs up dump truck full of ASCII hearts and drops them here* ♥ I haven't really watched the DVD that came with Limited Edition A yet, and the CD tracklist is on Limited Edition B anyway, but I just have to coo over the cover!! Kenken looks so cute, doesn't he? X3 *should really watch that DVD soon* One thing that REALLY bugs me about that DVD is that the live clip is 16:9 while the document clip is 4:3. And the live clip is LB too. DX AAAAAHHH. *hates that!*
I like the single though. The piano and orchestra versions of way of life are lovely, but I'd have to say my favourite version is the BREAKBEATS version. ♥ リスク is the I DON'T FORGIVE of this single. *weeps over the fact that the b-sides don't get as much attention as the title tracks*
Now about that game... I keep getting my ass handed to me by this freakin' skeleton. SO NOT COOL. I get to where I just about beat it, and then it uses this retarded attack that lets it have like 5 turns. NOT COOL GAME. NOT COOL. It sucks that I'm really good at games like this (it's like bejeweled) and yet I keep getting defeated. Luckily, all I have to do is try again and I don't get this "LOL GAME OVER" screen mocking me every time I lose.
I think once my sister gets off work I'm going to go buy another game for my DS with my gift card. It's lame that I've had my DS for 5 months now and I only have three games for it. Besides, we have to go to Starbucks anyway since my nephew wants Starbucks and won't shut up about it. It's all my fault. I got him hooked on the stuff when he was really little. ;___;''
